How to delete your Fixora account

We understand that you may wish to delete your Fixora account. This page provides step-by-step instructions on how to request account deletion and explains our data retention policies.


How to Delete Your Account

Follow these steps to delete your Fixora account:

  1. Log into the Fixora app using your credentials
  2. Navigate to the Settings screen from your profile or menu
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen where you'll find the "Log out" section
  4. Locate and tap the "Delete Account" button below the Log out option
  5. Review the confirmation popup that appears, which will explain the consequences of deleting your account
  6. Confirm your decision by accepting the deletion request

Important: Once you confirm deletion, you will not be able to log into your account anymore. This action cannot be undone.


What Happens After Deletion?

Immediate Effect

As soon as you confirm the account deletion:

  • Your account will be marked for deletion
  • You will be immediately logged out
  • You will no longer be able to log into your account
  • Your profile will no longer be visible to other users
  • You will not receive any further notifications from Fixora

Data Retention Period

Your user-generated data will be retained for 45 days before being fully deleted from our systems.

Why 45 days? This retention period allows us to:

  • Resolve any pending transactions or disputes
  • Comply with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Allow you time to change your mind (contact support within 45 days)

What Data Is Retained?

During the 45-day retention period, we keep the following user-generated data:

  • Profile information (name, email, phone number)
  • Job posts and descriptions
  • Quotes and invoices
  • Messages and communication history
  • Photos and documents you've uploaded
  • Transaction history
  • Reviews and ratings

After 45 Days

After the 45-day retention period:

  • All your personal information will be permanently deleted
  • Your data cannot be recovered
  • Any references to your account in other users' data will be anonymized

Note: Some aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for analytical purposes, but this data cannot be used to identify you personally.
